What Is GigWalk?
GigWalk is one of the first apps of its kind and really is a unique opportunity to make money. GigWalk is a unique mobile app for mobile devices like Apple and Android Devices offering a unique opportunity to make money by using your current location to find local gigs near you.
The gigs display on a map based on your location and usually they take 5 minutes to an hour. GigWalk pays anywhere from $3 to $100.
How Does Gigwalk Work?
Below are the steps involved in using the App:
Step1: Download the app to join the program
Step 2: Find gigs close to your location – After you have signed up, visit the Gigs near your map and choose gigs that appeals most to you to complete.
Step 3: Apply for gig – Once you find a gig that you find interesting to you, all you’ll need to complete it is to apply for it first and wait for the gig owner approval.
Step 4: Wait for the gig owner’s approval and instructions – After your application for the gig is completed, the gig owner must approve it based on your history and relevance to their gig.
Step 5: Executing your work – Once you get the approval, the next thing is to go ahead and review the detailed instructions of the gig and complete the necessary tasks given.
Step 6: Get Your Work Approved – After you complete and submit your gig (work) you will have to get the owner’s approval of your gig and in some cases, the owner may require you to expand or even have additional questions.
Step 7: Get your pay – Once you have completed all the steps above and most importantly, after your work is approved, the GigWalk will make a direct payment to your PayPal Account immediately.
Gigwalk For Individuals And for Businesses
One of the beautiful things of Gigwalk is that it allows both the individual and businesses to participate in the program.
For businesses, it’s great if they don’t have the money to hire an individual, they can hire someone to complete a specific task just for the day and not have to worry about paying someone for the rest of the month or year.
With that being said, it is also great for businesses because they get to view the individual that they are going to hire for the job and not just anyone who has no clue on how to do things. You can’t expect everyone to know how to do every type of job so it breaks it down to people who are handy with the job you are requiring to get completed.
For individuals, they can task out people to do a job if they are too busy to complete it themselves and it won’t cost them an arm and a leg. Same thing, you could look at their background to ensure that they know how to do that job that you are requesting to get completed.
You can also see how long they been doing that job with GigWalk so you can tell the difference with the more experienced workers and the new workers just starting out with GigWalk.
Gigwalk for Individuals
As an individual (Gigwalker), you have the opportunity to apply for jobs (gigs) that are available for completion in your area. The simple factor you need to look into before applying for a gig is if your skill set matches the job or the employer’ needs.
Also your age and country of residence matter. In other word, this means you become qualified for a job as long as you’re least 16 years of age and are also based in the U.S.
To start using Gigwalk as an individual, you’ll have to first download the app, register an account, and then fill out your personal data such as name, date of birth, education level, skill set, etc. Followed by this, is entering your PayPal information to enable acceptance of payment once a gig has been successfully completed.
After your account is set up, you can start searching for gigs and the way to do this is through search of a Google map of your area, which includes red pins that indicate a gig needing completion.
When you click on an individual pin, you’ll see the gig’s details, which could have instructions like “Verify the parking situation,” “Take a picture of the menu,” and the price the client is willing to offer.
The gig process break down for individuals is into the following six major steps:
• A business advertises a gig for work needed in a post
• You search for a gig of interest to you in the database and apply for it
• You get hired if your background fits the business’ needs
• You complete the job and submit it to your client through the Gigwalk app
• Your work is approved
• Once your work is completed you get paid through PayPal
Downloading the app for individuals totally free, but you’ll be needed to except that you’ll have to bear the cost of covering PayPal once you have been paid for a gig.
- Unique– One of the advantages of Giwalk app is its uniqueness in terms of a way of earning money with your mobile device.
- Payments– Imagine how irritating it would sound to work hard using an app and earn money with it but only to have to wait again for certain period before you can cash out your money. Perhaps this is one of the best things about GigWalk as you don’t have to face any waiting period but once the owner approves your work you receive payment directly to your PayPal account. Except on a holiday you will always receive payment within a few minutes or within 24 hours.
- App Available On Apple & Android– You can download the app is available within your Apple and Android App store so basically anyone with a smart phone or tablet can easily gain access to it or use it.
- Applying & Approval– The first concern with GigWalk is that you have to apply for the gig. In other word, this means that it’s going to be difficult to get started with GigWalk as a new member. This I say because it would be expected that companies would go for people with more experience than someone just starting out.
Again, the owner of the gig has to approve your work and where he deems it necessary he can also ask for more information. But one can ordinarily understand the need for this since they don’t want to have to waste their money for unworthy information.
- Location– Another concern with GigWalk is if you don’t live near or within a major city you can simply forget about using GigWalk. It will be hard for you to find good paying gigs if you live in a small town.
If you’re someone who resides in a city and is looking to make some additional money for executing simple tasks, then I would recommend this program for you. This could be a great start for you because if you are really looking for work and a business hires you and sees how good of a worker you are, they can always recommend you to other businesses and maybe you could get hired for a full time job.
In my own view, I don’t see GigWalk as being meant for everyone, however, if you meet the requirements, it’s legit and will be worthy of your work and time.
So the key is to try and have a good background of the gig you are trying to get weather it be certification certificates or a college degree if you have one.
Anything that can help you stand out amongst the people you are going against to get the gig.
I know… it sounds kind of frustrating to compete with someone to get a gig so if this isn’t going to work out for you, check out my #1 Recommended Program to make a full time income online without having to stress out on trying to find gigs.
